About Us
Empery Digital is a bitcoin treasury committed to acquiring bitcoin efficiently, safely, and reliably. We are dedicated to accumulating as much bitcoin as possible in an effort to maximize the power of our investors’ shares. Our strategy is straightforward: we raise capital and then cost-effectively allocate those funds to acquire bitcoin, thereby increasing the amount of bitcoin per share. Leveraging capital structure and team’s ample experience–Empery Digital’s goal is to provide more upside to the entity or investor than direct bitcoin ownership alone.

Ryan Lane
Co-Chief Executive Officer/Chairman
Ryan Lane is the founder and principal of Empery Asset Management, established in 2008. His decades of experience in structuring investments and raising capital have resulted in direct financings for a myriad of issues and transactions. Ryan’s deep expertise across the capital structure allows him to design bespoke structural solutions for companies across all industries. He received his BA from Franklin & Marshal College in Finance & Accounting.
John Kim
Co-Chief Executive Officer
John Kim has been the CEO of Volcon since early 2024. Within one year he reconstructed the company, cleared all its debts, launched new products, and raised capital. He is the founder of Super73 (acquired by Tiger Global) and U-Life (acquired by LG Electronics). John’s tenacity and consistency have enabled his ability to generate success for major companies throughout his endeavors. He received his MA in Design from Stanford University.
Tim Silver, CFA
Chief Operating Officer
Current acting portfolio manager at Empery Asset Management. Tim is a capital markets expert with extensive experience executing direct financings across the capital structure and establishing systems and processes for reliable fund management. He received his BA from Colgate University in Mathematical Economics and MBA from Colombia Business School.
Brett Director
Vice President/Legal
Brett Director is currently serving as a General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Empery Asset Management. As a seasoned attorney of 30+ years, Brett’s focus is primarily on structuring, negotiating, and documenting capital raising transactions, including the issuance of equity, equity-linked and debt securities in private placements and public offerings. Prior to serving as counsel for Empery Asset Management, he advised for over 15 years at Schulte Roth & Zabel, LLP. He received his BA from Franklin & Marshall College in Accounting and JD from Syracuse University.
Alyson Chung
Digital Asset Treasury Controller
Alyson Chung is currently serving as Controller at Empery Asset Management. She is an experienced controller who has spent over a decade establishing systems and processes for accurate and efficient fund administration, reporting, and reconciliation. Before serving as controller for Empery Asset Management, she worked in accounting at Brown Brothers Harriman. She received her BS from Stonybrook University in Business Administration and MBA from Baruch College in Accounting.
Greg Endo
Chief Financial Officer
Greg Endo is currently serving as the CFO of Volcon, Inc. after successfully completing the company’s IPO and subsequent follow-on equity and debt offerings. Before becoming chief financial officer at Volcon, he was a consultant at Marcum Berstein & Penchuk, LLP as well as an advisory partner at Deloitte and Touche, LLP. He received his BA in Business administration and MS in Professional Accounting at the University of Texas at Austin.
Riley Noble
Vice President of Strategy
Riley Noble is the Vice President of Strategy for Volcon Inc. and is currently developing product roadmaps rooted in deep analysis of market opportunity. He maintains a strong understanding of tariff-driven demand and experienced building partnerships with international manufacturers. Before joining the Volcon team he worked as a product engineer for Cisco’s Data Center and Core Routing Business units. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
